Escape Outside: Giving TLC to Our National Parks

At TLC Gardens, our core values are at the root of everything we do. You won’t find these values on a plaque on the wall in our office, rather, our Team is striving to live out these core values in our everyday lives. As a part of our Team’s commitment to ecological stewardship, we honor each client contract signed with a $100 donation to a national park of the client’s choice. Our world is in a state of urgency, perhaps more than ever before. The climate crisis, a global pandemic, a worldwide civil rights movement, and politics putting protection of our natural spaces at risk are just a few of the immense issues that are affecting every single person in the world today. We hope to inspire you to do your part with whatever form of activism you can offer by sharing some of our team’s favorite National Parks:

Favorite National Park: Olympic National Park, Washington

WHY: The most beautiful and unique sections of this state are the coast line, the rain forests, and the stunning tidal pool rock formations. I also love the experience of the cool weather on the remote beaches.

Favorite National Park: Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, Colorado

WHY: It is my favorite National Park because it is outside of Gunnison, Colorado where I lived as a ski instructor when I first moved to Colorado. I climbed my first multi pitch climb in the canyon. It was a 1,500 foot climb and it was one of the most memorable climbs of my life!
